Nancy D. Morton, age 87, of Coshocton, died Sunday, Feb. 16, 2025, at Altercare of Coshocton. She was born Oct. 27, 1937, to Hazel (Bloom) Burns in DuBois, and grew up in Punxsutawney.In 1958, Nancy earned her diploma in nursing from the Allegheny General Hospital School of Nursing and therefore began her career as a dedicated nurse for 50 years in Pittsburgh, Greenwich, Connecticut, and Coshocton, Ohio. While working in Pittsburgh, she met her future husband, Ronald L. Morton. They married on March 18, 1966, at the First United Methodist Church in Pittsburgh. He passed away on Nov. 23, 1998.Nancy was a devoted member of the Presbyterian Church, as well as an avid Steelers fan. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, watching Jeopardy and going to the beach. As a very quick-witted woman, Nancy knew how to have a good laugh with good friends over a good meal. In addition to friends and family, Nancy also loved spending time with her wire-haired dachshunds.She is survived by her daughter, Jenifer
