Nancy D. Morton, age 87, of Coshocton, died Sunday, February 16, 2025, at Altercare of Coshocton. She was born October 27, 1937, to Hazel (Bloom) Burns in Du Bois, Pennsylvania, and grew up in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. In 1958, Nancy earned her Diploma in Nursing from the Allegheny General Hospital School of Nursing and therefore began her career as a dedicated nurse for 50 years in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Greenwich, Connecticut, and Coshocton, Ohio. While working in Pittsburgh, she met her future husband Ronald L. Morton. They married on March 18, 1966, at the First United Methodist Church in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He passed away on November 23, 1998.Nancy was a devoted member of the Presbyterian Church, as well as an avid Steelers fan. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, watching Jeopardy, and going to the beach.
